Morris Sims has been training leaders, managers, and sales people for over 30 years. After 5 years practicing Chemical Engineering Morris decided to become an agent selling Life Insurance. He was successful selling insurance for three years reaching Reward Production Levels when the opportunity to go into Management came his way. 32 years later Morris retired as the Vice President and Chief Learning Office of New York Life.
Currently Morris is a coach to great agents. He has developed a system based on the age-old principles of success he calls “8 Steps to Grow Your Business.” Morris speaks and teaches workshops on topics involving Planning, Goal Setting, Influence, Sales Skills, Management, Leadership, and Thinking right to stay motivated.
Morris has also consulted internationally with Life Insurance Companies in India and Mexico. He has also consulted with companies outside the Financial Services Industry to build and teach their team their sales process and sales skills.
Morris is the author of several articles and two books. Practical Influence was published in 2017 and is available on Amazon. Net proceeds from all book sales are donated to charity.
Morris and his wife Carla live in Forney, Texas outside of Dallas. Their two grown children, and first grandchild also live in the Dallas area.
