Mickey Straub started his career as an agent for 16 years; 2 years as a federal agent (U. S. Department of Defense) and 14 years as an insurance agent. Born and raised in Pennsylvania, he lived in Washington D.C. and Los Angeles before settling in the Chicago area. Mickey is president of Sales Activity Management, Inc., an industry that he founded in 1995 to inspire confidence and success, to “make a difference” in a producer’s career and to impact on-boarding, productivity and retention. SAM has sold over 1 million custom performance management and leadership tools and serves tens of thousands of clients annually nationwide to help them set goals, keep score and stay motivated.
Mickey recently received a CONGRESSIONAL RECORD from the U.S. House of Representatives for his patriotic pilgrimage to 50 CAPITOLS IN 50 DAYS in honor of Abraham Lincoln and our veterans, a cross-country road trip that he is the only person in history to complete.
