Hunter’s expertise stems from a personal understanding of agency life coupled with 15 years of executive level experience in online insurance marketing. A former insurance agent himself, he used online marketing to secure the success of multiple scratch agencies, winning him various awards for agency growth as both an Allstate EA and an independent agent. With lead-generation as his primary means for customer acquisition, Hunter took his experience as an agent to create an online marketing company that really understood what agents needed. As founder of HometownQuotes, a lead-generation tool for agents, he established valuable industry relationships and insight. Under his leadership, HometownQuotes received various industry awards for company growth. Hunter was also a finalist for Inc. Magazine's Entrepreneur of the Year and was chosen as the Reader Favorite.
After a successful exit from HometownQuotes he joined the team at Reply.com to run Business Development for their Insurance division. He later joined Precise Leads as the company's Chief Revenue Officer where he was instrumental in helping the company win back to back Inc. 5000 awards for being one of the fastest growing companies in the country.
Today Hunter runs the Business Development team at EverQuote focusing on Life Insurance and the Key Accounts team at EverQuote where he has the privilege of working with the top 1% of agents in the country using his experience to help optimize and grow their agencies.
