A Personal Invitation to Attend LAMP 2008

On behalf of GAMA International’s Executive Committee and Board of Directors, I want to extend you a special invitation to join us at LAMP 2008 — Leadership: Gateway to the Future. LAMP is and always has been a four-star event, where thousands of financial services leaders gather every year.

This will be one of the greatest industry meetings ever. LAMP will focus on providing you thoughtful topics on your leadership in the future, with presentations on handling the pending retirements of the baby boomers, as well as how to recruit the next generation of agents. You will learn skills that you will use into your next decade of leadership.

LAMP opens up with our welcome reception in the Resource Center on Sunday afternoon. There you will find GAMA International Resource Partners and other top industry vendors. They will showcase state-of-the-art resources that will help you take your agency or firm to the next level.

On Sunday, there will also be a special session on 25 Secrets to Sustainable Success presented by Phil Richards, Past GAMA President, Hall of Fame recipient and President and CEO of Northstar Financial. Phil will introduce a strategy your organization can use to develop the best leaders. He is collecting your questions in advance, so be sure to watch www.gamaweb.com for ways to send in your hot topics for his session.

For our first-time attendees, there will be a session to help you maximize your LAMP experience. Take advantage of the mini-focus group in which you can ask specific questions about LAMP or any of the other benefits or services provided through your GAMA International membership.

Monday kicks off with the first general session, to be followed by afternoon sessions that the Professional Development Committee has carefully selected to cover a variety of topics: leadership, marketing, recruiting, producer development, retention and practice management. These sessions will provide valuable information to field leaders of all distribution styles.
