Distribution Management Awards

The GAMA International Distribution Management Awards program was designed to recognize outstanding first-line and frontline managers and recruiters for their important roles in the insurance and financial services industry. The Master Agency/Firm Award (MAA/MFA) recognizes agencies and firms that met the $6,200,000 commission level in 2007. The International Management Award (IMA) recognizes outstanding first-line managers, and the Career Development Award (CDA) recognizes the outstanding achievements of frontline managers. The Recruiting Specialist Award (RSA) was created to recognize the outstanding contributions of individuals serving in an agency or firm who have helped increase retention and productivity.

First In Class Award

The James H. Krueger First in Class Awards recognize the insurance and financial services industry’s most valuable asset-outstanding individual leadership. The awards are presented at LAMP during the Celebration of Excellence Recognition Banquet to those agency/firm heads who lead their companies each year. Since the purpose of the award is to recognize leadership, each company is responsible for determining the criteria it will use to select its nominee.
