GAMA Awards: There Are No Limits

One way in which GAMA International builds leaders is by giving them a platform for recognition. There are several different types of awards — some you qualify for, based on production numbers, and some awards are bestowed by grateful peers. Some awards spotlight legends in the industry, and some awards are meant to recognize those who are just beginning their climb. Read on to learn more about our various awards programs — and how GAMA is dedicated to recognizing the best in the industry.

GAMA International’s Awards Program recognizes exceptional agency and firm leaders around the world. Our award qualifiers are among the elite in the financial services industry, and several companies use our award requirements as benchmarks for their internal company reward programs. Qualifications for these awards are based on annual production numbers.

GAMA is proud each year to induct an industry icon into the GAMA International Management Hall of Fame. This is the highest honor given by the financial services industry and recognizes an individual who has demonstrated excellence in agency building, industry involvement and community affairs.

GAMA also recognizes two types of leaders through our Celebration of Excellence Awards. Companies nominate their outstanding first-line leaders (the James H. Krueger First in Class Award) and their up-and-coming frontline leaders (the Brian H. Early Frontline Excellence Award). Both awards are given during the Celebration of Excellence recognition banquet at LAMP each year.

The LAMP awards recognize what is the lifeblood of any organization: its dedicated volunteers. Distributed each year at LAMP, the Cy Pick Award, the Volunteer of the Year Award and the Editor’s Choice Award each spotlight someone who has contributed time, energy and commitment to GAMA.
