Cy Pick Award

The Cy Pick Award was established in 2000 in honor of C. A. “Cy” Pick, CLU ChFC FIC, who served as both the GAMA International president and the chairman of the GAMA International Foundation board of trustees.

Cy Pick is legendary for his willingness to unselfishly volunteer his time and expertise for the good of the industry. The Cy Pick Award recognizes individuals who have an impressive history of significant contributions to the financial services industry through their volunteer activities with GAMA International.

A special committee selects the recipient, and the award is presented annually at LAMP. All GAMA International volunteers are eligible to be considered for the award except those who have gone through, or are slated to go through, the board chairs (i.e., president, president-elect, vice president and secretary).
